This wedding at Stewart Family Farm in Oregon was SO dang beautiful! Amanda and Dalton had a beautiful wedding in the Oregon countryside, surrounded by the largest, most fun wedding party and their family.
You really can get any type of scenery here in Oregon – nothing beats getting married in this state. Stewart Family Farm is a wedding venue with variety too. They have hazelnut orchards, a private stream, evergreen and maple fields. It’s literally such a dream to get married here!
Because Amanda and Dalton were married in 2020 (what a year), they were forced to scale back their wedding to be pretty small. Despite the challenges that came with scaling back, they held one hell of an epic wedding! I remember them saying “my biggest flex is my wedding party” HAHA literally the best quote of the night! Their wedding party was around 15 of their close friends and family. During the ceremony, one of the groomsmen even gifted them a really nice gold bottle of champagne. WHAT A GUY! We even got to take photos of them popping that bottle later!
We started off with photos of the two of them getting ready. Dalton wanted to see Amanda for the first time when she walked down the aisle, so I took their photos separately. The bridal party had cute silk robes to get ready in which I LOVED! Silk robes are always a great idea because one, they look great in pictures and two, they are easy to get out of and not mess up your glam! Because there was no first look between bride and groom didn’t stop Amanda from having a first look with her bridal squad, which was EPIC, and her father! It was overall a super emotional but fun filled getting ready experience Also, the bride and groom exchanged letters before the wedding and read them privately in lieu of their first look. I thought this was such a sweet touch.
The ceremony took place outside on Stewart Family Farm’s property in front of a beautiful wooden arbor strung with silk and florals. Dalton was in tears when he saw his bride for the first time and it was so incredibly sweet! After the ceremony was over we gathered around for wedding party and family pictures. This was quite the rowdy wedding party and I was living for it. Also not sure if they are all part time or full time models, because I’ve never seen such a good looking group! LOVED THEM ALL I swept Amanda and Dalton away afterwards for some sunset portraits at Stewart Family Farm’s hazelnut orchard. There was no shortage of smiling, kisses and big hugs.
The reception also happened under a beautiful white canopy on Stewart Family Farm’s wedding property. There was a big dance floor with a beautiful chandelier above it and it was perfect for photos at the reception. We took tons of photos, busted a move on the dance floor and even popped that freaking gold champagne bottle! THE MOST EPIC THING EVER! Afterwards we resumed our dancing and Amanda even had a few choreographed dances with her friends from being on the dance squad!
You really can’t beat a summer wedding in Oregon. The weather is perfect and the days last so long (so the party never stops). I loved shooting this wedding at Stewart’s Family Farm and I hope to visit that venue again in the future! While Oregon has a lot of industrial and indoor wedding venues, it also has some pretty epic outdoor ones too. If you’re interested in having me for your epic summer wedding, holler at me RIGHT NOW! Summer is the busiest time in wedding season so I’d love to photograph your special day while it’s still available!
